My rough cut is having technical problems uploading to YouTube but it will be on here by the end of the week.
To start with due to partly my edit no being saved on the computer, in the middle of my rough cut black parts had been made due to the fact it had not been saved correctly so those were clips that had not been moved up. However the black outs while the first pan is panning across the river, I put in deliberately I believed it would create tension if the scene was chopped up and reflect the unstable character of our main characters however during feed back I was told that this effect just made it look like a trailer not a film opening. The black spaces I put in near the end of the film were going to be used for the slates. Further more, the colour grading on the video, I did change to be a blue colour how ever it did not save so the colour grading is wrong and too dark and black for the thriller genre. The Pursuit at the moment is also too long for the 2 minute brief as it is nearly 4 minutes long so we as a group has to make sure that when we cut it down by half the story will still make sense to our readers.
